Customers work closely with Skyway Customer Enablement Managers (CEMs) to understand the business and IT benefits of Skyway Visual Perspectives, as well as during the transition to production-use of the workspace. Skyway CEMs use the Skyway Collaborative Software Delivery ™ methodology to help our customers simplify their delivery of software using the Skyway Visual Perspectives.
Skyway Collaborative Software Delivery ™
Our customers use the Skyway Collaborative Software Delivery methodology - enabled by Skyway Visual Perspectives - to simplify their software delivery approach. This enables our customers to deliver software applications more quickly, more accurately, and more completely than ever. Skyway Collaborative Software Delivery starts by involving end-user customers in the delivery process in ways that are natural to them and not disruptive to their schedules. The Skyway Collaborative Software Delivery methodology allows a wide range of developers to deliver solutions in days and weeks, rather than in months or quarters, by following a simple process flow:
- Prototyping – provide customers with the right solution the first time (as a production-ready application) in only a few hours or days using the power of enterprise web application design models and Skyway Visual Perspectives to more effectively and efficiently capture business requirements.
- Planning – use the application structure of the validated prototype to create a project estimate and assign resources to tasks to determine project delivery cost and timelines. This ensures that the software will be delivered with right features on time and on budget.
- Development – leverage the baseline application created during prototyping and planning, combined with the enterprise web application modeling benefits to deliver weekly solution increments until the final solution is ready for deployment. Depending on the composition and location of the team, the customer may want to take advantage of the Skyway Workspace Enabled RightShoring ™ approach. Implementation Support
